Peruvian Chontas Ceremonial Sticks
The Northern Coast Peruvian Healers (curanderos) use sticks from hard durable wood as elements for healing and energy cleaning during their sacred ceremonies or “Mesas.” The details are handcrafted by indigenous people in sacred places. The Chonga wood is characterized because it holds the energy of the shaman, and that energy can be transmitted to the patient during the cleaning process. The motives that decorate the head of each chonta have a special meaning; you can find a snake that represents the sacred ayahuasca. San Cipriano represents religious syncretism and the connection with God. Sometimes you may find a hand with a star to bring good luck. Our products are original. These Chontas are made it in the Indigenous Muchik tribes from the North Coast of Peru. Price: $50 + $10 shipping to the US. We ship worldwide.
We made this possible with the collaboration between Casa Inti in New Jersey and Fundo Vera in Tucume, Peru.

Ukrainian Mutankas
Motankas (Мотанка) are ancient hand-made Ukrainian family talismans and symbols of prosperity for homes; A Motanka represents the unity and connections with elders and spirituality.
Motankas are unique hand-made dolls in the shape of a woman or a child, and they are made from pieces of fabric from beloved people’s old clothes. Motankas are filled with good intentions, sincerity, and love. Ukrainians believe a Motanka at home will protect the place and its inhabitants.
Motanka dolls have no face because ancestors believed a face would tie their soul to this plane. So instead of a face, dolls are full of color elements representing paganism and family union.
